The former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley is on the shelf with an injury. That doesn’t keep her away from sharing her thoughts on social media. She recently sent a message to former NXT star Kairi Sane.
Bayley takes the credit for Kairi Sane’s departure
Sane’s last appearance in WWE was on the 20th July 2020 episode of Monday Night RAW. She had squared off against ‘The Role Model’ in a singles match. The former took the WWE Universe by surprise when she pinned the former RAW Women’s Champion for a win.
Taking to Twitter, the former SmackDown Women’s Champion reacted to a throwback picture of her match with Kairi and took credit for her departure from the company. She wrote:

Fans have been eagerly waiting to witness the former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Bayley back in programming. One of Bayley’s last televised matches took place on “WWE SmackDown” in June last year. She was in a mixed tag match with Seth Rollins. The pair had defeated Bianca Belair and Cesaro (now AEW star Claudio Castagnoli).
‘The Role Model’ had suffered a knee injury in July last year while training at the Performance Center. She was scheduled to take on Bianca Belair in a SmackDown Women’s title match at Money In The Bank last year as well. It was announced added that she would be out of action for about nine months due to her injury. ‘The Role Model’ seemingly revealed the exact spot that resulted in her knee injury. She has been hinting on social media that she is close to returning. The horrific injury has kept her away from WWE ring and meanwhile, she underwent knee reconstruction surgery as well. We will now have to see when she is able to make her return.
