Ben Affleck recently spoke about Jennifer Lopez’s recent red carpet look hit that grabbed attention.
On Tuesday, Lopez, 54, bared her famous abs in a Grace Ling backless gown featuring a statement-making metallic breastplate top at Elle’s Women in Hollywood ceremony, where she was honored with the Icon Award.
It has been noted that he designer piece was definitely sexy on the ‘This Is Me… Now’ singer with its midriff cut-out and dose of underboob. However, Affleck jokingly told Variety at the event that the futuristic ensemble gave him “PTSD” and “flashbacks” to his Batman suit.
Affleck, 51, has played the DC Comics superhero in five different films: Batman v. Superman, Suicide Squad, Justice League, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, and The Flash.
Teasing aside, the couple — who tied the knot in July 2022 after reconciling the previous year — looked loved up on the carpet. They shared a sweet kiss as well.
It’s not surprising that Affleck had an hilarious take on his wife’s look. While appearing on Live with Kelly and Mark earlier this year, Lopez said that his feedback sometimes throws her off, but she finds humor in his honest opinions.
“He doesn’t come to the fittings or anything like that,” Lopez explained. “But, if I’m getting dressed and we’re going to a red carpet or some big event I’m like, ‘What do you think? This one or this one? Do you like this or do you like this?’ Stuff like that.”
She added: “He’ll joke with me sometimes and say, ‘Where’s the rest of the shirt?’ And I’m like, ‘No, this one doesn’t have anything else.”
