Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez have been spotted displaying affection in public once again, this time holding hands as they left Ben’s daughter Violet’s high school graduation ceremony in L.A. However, despite the physical touch, their relationship still appears tense.
In some photos, Ben and Jen seem uncomfortable, with Jen looking at Ben with a serious expression at one point, suggesting underlying tension.
It’s worth noting that Ben and Jen, who are still living apart, were joined by their respective children for the outing, along with Ben’s mom Chris and Jennifer Garner’s mom, Pat.
Despite the public display of affection, Ben and Jen left the event in separate vehicles and returned to their separate residences. Ben is currently residing in Brentwood instead of the Beverly Hills pad they purchased for $60 million last year.
Neither Ben nor Jen have publicly addressed the state of their marriage, but they’ve sent mixed messages recently. Ben has been spotted without his wedding ring, while Jen was seen house hunting earlier this month.
Despite the uncertainties, the couple continues to spend time together, indicating they can at least tolerate each other’s company. Their relationship has had its ups and downs, from their initial romance in 2002 to their recent reunion and subsequent engagement in 2022.
