Biden Attacks Trump After Offensive Jewish…

President Joe Biden and his campaign recently slammed the former President Donald Trump regarding a video clip that promised a “unified Reich” if Trump wins, as well as a long list of Nazi-related offenses, in a campaign video and a blistering memo via Mediaite.

It has been noted that Trump’s repeated comments voicing support to Hitler have earned him negative headlines for months — even as he continued to use the language — as did news that he praised Hitler to his then-chief of staff.

On Monday afternoon, Trump posted a video that referenced a “unified Reich” beneath headlines about a Trump victory.

The Trump campaign released a statement distancing itself from the video, blaming a staffer and making other excuses. However, he did not delete the post for more than 15 hours, and only after CNN called them out.

Biden’s White House and campaign each issued immediate condemnations, and Biden rapped Trump in remarks at a fundraiser Tuesday. Minutes after those remarks, the campaign put out a video and a memo highlighting the fact that this video is not an isolated incident.

In the video, Biden watches the Trump clip and exclaims “Wow!”

“‘A unified Reich?’ That’s Hitler’s language! That’s not America’s. He only cares about holding on to power. I care about you,” Biden said.

The campaign memo linked to the video, then listed a few of Trump’s Nazi- and Nazi-adjacent bullet points:

Today, President Biden released a new video slamming Donald Trump after Trump shared a video that dreamed of a “unified Reich” if he won in November.

Trump took nearly a full day to remove the video.

Trump has previously said only he and top staffer Dan Scavino have access to his social media accounts.

Trump also has a long history of antisemitic behavior, hanging out with antisemites, and attacking Jewish Americans:

  • Trump has reportedly said Adolf Hitler did “some good things
  • Trump praised some of the neo-Nazi marchers in Charlottesville who chanted “Jews will not replace us” as “very fine people
  • Trump, in recent months, has repeatedly attacked Jewish Americans, including with a celebrator of Nazi-linked groups – saying they should be ‘ashamed’ and ‘have their head examined’
  • Trump echoed the rhetoric of fascists and compared his political opponents to Nazis
  • Trump has used the same language as Hitler and Mussolini, calling his political opponents “vermin” who must be “root[ed out]” and saying immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country.”
  • Trump dined at Mar-a-Lago with white nationalist Nick Fuentes. Fuentes previously said “perfidious Jews” should be executed.
  • Trump, during Rosh Hashanah, attacked Jews who did not support him as wanting to “destroy America.”
  • Trump shared an antisemitic meme suggesting his opponent was controlled by Jews and their money
  • Trump has endorsed multiple times a racist conspiracy theory pushed by neo-Nazis against Jews and immigrants
  • Trump engages in antisemitic tropes all the time
