Biden Explodes At Trump With Nancy Pelosi

During a video call marking the anniversary of the Affordable Care Act’s passage, President Joe Biden, accompanied by former President Barack Obama and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, warned against potential efforts by former President Donald Trump and his “MAGA extremists” to repeal the ACA.

Reflecting on Trump’s previous attempts to dismantle the law, Biden emphasized the threat posed by renewed efforts to repeal the ACA, particularly in the context of the upcoming 2024 campaign. Trump has pledged to revisit the issue if reelected, despite falling just one vote short during his presidency.

Biden condemned Republican efforts to repeal the ACA, highlighting the potential consequences for millions of Americans, including loss of coverage and protections for preexisting conditions. He stressed the importance of defending and strengthening the ACA, asserting that healthcare should be a right, not a privilege.

The Biden campaign further underscored this message with a digital advertisement released on Friday, which emphasized Trump’s repeated promises to end the Affordable Care Act if given another term in office.

Republicans have voted. It’s hard to believe. 50 times to repeal the Affordable Care Act. 50 times. And now Donald Trump and his MAGA extremists are determined to try again. Trump says he’s running to terminate the ACA. That would help health care coverage take health care companies away from tens of millions of Americans, and 100 million Americans would lose protections from protective for preexisting conditions. Folks simply can’t let that happen. We won’t let that happen. We’re determined. We’re determined as ever to defend and strengthen the Affordable Care Act and to make health care right, not a privilege in America. I know we can do it.
