The New Day was separated during the WWE Draft as Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods were drafted to RAW while Big E remained on Smackdown. The company is serious about giving him a singles push and now it seems the first step has been taken.
Big E competed in a six-man tribute match for Pat Patterson. Daniel Bryan and Rey Mysterio came out first. Then he came out and it was revealed that he has new entrance music. He also has a new setup for the entrance now. He officially has different music than the New Day.
Fans have noticed that the vocals for his new music were familiar. That is because Wale was behind it all.
Big E took to Twitter after his match on Smackdown and revealed that he was a huge fan of Wale’s music long before he joined WWE. He said that he is eternally grateful for the new music.
I was a Wale fan well before anyone cared to know my name. Eternally grateful to get to come out to a living legend’s music.
