– This is the debut episode of SmackDown on the USA Network.
– Mauro RanalloRanello will make his WWE debut as lead announcer of SmackDown.
– Dean Ambrose © vs. Kevin Owens for the WWE Intercontinental Title.
– Charlotte © vs. Becky Lynch for the WWE Divas Title.
Superstars who are advertised to appear at the taping include Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, Kane, Big Show, Bray Wyatt and many more.
