WWE initially had planned for Braun Strowman to challenge Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship at WWE TLC next month. However, he was then suspended indefinitely according to the storyline and was also excluded from the #1 Contender’s match as well.

On Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer revealed that Strowman has suffered a knee injury and is likely to not compete at TLC. It was said that he possibly injured his knee during the Men’s Survivor Series match. The triple threat match that will happen will be for the WWE Title spot.
It was also said that the writing team is under the impression that the match will still be held, just that Strowman will not be in it.
The seriousness of Strowman’s injury is not yet known.
