During Ronda Rousey vs. Charlotte Flair’s I Quit match at WrestleMania Backlash, Pat McAfee spotted someone wearing a Bray Wyatt Fiend mask in the crowd. He asked, “Is that The Fiend in the front row?”
The one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag-Team Champions, Sasha Banks is one of the top stars of the company and it is no surprise that other promotions has eyes set on her. The current FTW Champion Ricky Starks is currently one of the highlights of AEW television lately and he has expressed his desire to rope in ‘The Boss’ for Team Taz.
Ricky Starks opens up on Sasha Banks
The FTW Champion has worked hard to establish himself as a solid talent and fans continue to support him all the time and he might receive support to recruit Banks in the future. He is also a member of Team Taz and is proud of it. While speaking on the Pro Wrestling Illustrated podcast, Starks named Banks his top pick for the first female Team Taz member.
“I mean, if I had to pick anyone to be in Team Taz, it’d probably be Sasha Banks. Yeah, but I think for right now, I like it how it is. I like the fact that it’s this small group. I don’t want to overpopulate it and then it becomes something boring and just corny. Most importantly, I just don’t want it to get to that but, I think for right now, it’s good how we have it. We all have seemingly found our groove a bit and this is the best version of Team Taz in my head by far.”
Sasha Banks and her partner Naomi are currently involved in a feud with Shayna Baszler and Natalya. Banks suffered a defeat at the hands of Baszler on the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown. The champs ended up standing tall and forcing the heel team to retreat after the match concluded.
