Bret Hart says Vince McMahon was responsible for killing tag team wrestling

WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart has seen it all when it comes to the world of professional wrestling. He is certainly well-versed in tag team wrestling as well.

During a recent episode of Confessions Of The Hitman, Hart discussed tag team wrestling as a whole. He said WWE’s tag team division in the older days was rich and engaging. He then accused Vince McMahon of singlehandedly killing tag team wrestling in WWE.

“I think it’s my understanding that Vince McMahon got sick of tag team wrestling and is no longer a fan of it. And that’s so sad that he kind of singlehandedly killed a part of the wrestling business that was so important.”

Bret Hart was part of the Hart Foundation with Jim Neidhart and won Tag Team gold on two different occasions. The Hart Foundation was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2019.
