Brock Lesnar Breaks Character With The Rock In Photo

WWE has posted rare photos on their website to celebrate Brock Lesnar’s 20 years in WWE, including the only photo of Brock Lesnar and The Rock taken backstage in the 2010s after they both returned to WWE, with The Rock hugging Brock, as seen below. Several fans would simply agree that Brock Lesnar is one of the most dominant pro wrestlers to have ever stepped foot inside the squared circle. He had two terrific runs in WWE, both of which saw him winning major World Titles and being a huge draw for fans. Brock Lesnar was not seen on WWE television ever since he dropped the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania 36 back in 2020. Brock Lesnar was also previously called out by a Superstar from Monday Night RAW.

After being away from WWE television for over a year, Brock Lesnar made his return at WWE SummerSlam in 2021, immediately setting his sights set on Roman Reigns. He also sported a ponytail, which was completely different from what fans were used to seeing him in.

Lesnar won the WWE Championship after defeating Big E, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley in a Fatal Five-Way match at WWE Day 1. However, he would lose the title to Bobby Lashley last month after Roman Reigns interfered in the match thanks to Paul Heyman turning on The Beast Incarnate.

Lesnar then won the Men’s Royal Rumble match and went on to choose Roman Reigns as his opponent for WrestleMania. He then won the WWE Championship in the WWE Title Elimination Chamber match in Saudi Arabia on February 19th.

Lesnar was also attacked by Roman Reigns and the rest of the Bloodline at the Madison Square Garden show earlier this month. Lesnar was even busted open during their assault. Dave Meltzer wrote in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Brock Lesnar did not blade but was cut by the steel ring steps.

“Regarding the 3/5 Madison Square Garden show, the word is that Lesnar did not use a blade to cut himself and it was a hard way job from the steps. WWE bans blading. That angle was meant to have blood and Lesnar does what he wants, but the reality is that blading is a lot safer than having someone bust your head hard way.”
