Brock Lesnar Gets Huge Payment With Bobby Lashley

WWE Champion Bobby Lashley is a dominant force and he started his second reign of the title recently after dethroning Brock Lesnar at Royal Rumble 2022. He has been heavily featured in the main-event picture and has been viewed as a top talent of the company. The dream clash between ‘The Almighty’ and ‘The Beast Incarnate’ at the Royal Rumble for the WWE Championship was a great match. Paul Heyman turned on Brock Lesnar who was attacked by his rival WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Many had been also concerned about Lesnar’s possible departure.

Bobby Lashley could face Brock Lesnar at MSG

WWE will be holding a mega event at Madison Square Garden on March 5 this year. It will feature stars such as Brock Lesnar, Ronda Rousey, Roman Reigns and more. According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the two marquee matches planned for the show are Brock Lesnar vs. WWE Champion Bobby Lashley and Seth Rollins vs. Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Meltzer explained that Lesnar was added to the MSG show because the company did not fare well in New York the last time they were there.

“It’s pretty clear Vince McMahon wasn’t taking that last Madison Square Garden show doing one of the lowest crowds in the last 80 years in the building lying down. Not only did he add Lesnar to the show, and every Lesnar appearance is very expensive and hardly cost effective for a house show, particularly in a building where you need a huge number just to break even and really running the building itself with the crowd they drew the last time would be tough.”

Bobby Lashley is set to defend his WWE Championship at the Elimination Chamber event in Saudi Arabia on February 19th. We will have to wait how things go for ‘The All Mighty’.
