Tallulah Willis has revealed that she has autism, a diagnosis she says she only recently discovered. Taking to Instagram with a throwback video featuring her and her father, Bruce Willis, Tallulah shared this news with her followers.
In the resurfaced video, Tallulah can be seen repeatedly rubbing her father’s bald head during a red-carpet interview. Her sister Scout commented on the video, explaining that Tallulah’s actions in the clip are a form of stimming, a repetitive physical behavior common in people with autism.
This marks the first time Tallulah has publicly discussed her autism diagnosis, which she says she learned about last summer, a revelation that she claims has changed her life.
This disclosure comes on the heels of Tallulah’s previous candid discussions about her struggles with an eating disorder, which she first opened up about in May 2023. In a recent update, she admitted to romanticizing unhealthy times but emphasized the importance of sharing her journey to combat feelings of loneliness and uncertainty.
In addition to Tallulah’s personal health journey, the Willis family has been navigating challenges related to Bruce Willis’ diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. Bruce’s wife, with whom he shares daughters Mabel and Evelyn, revealed in September that it’s unclear how much Bruce understands about his condition.
