Emma Heming Willis, Bruce Willis’ wife, recently shared a collage of throwback photos celebrating their relationship on Instagram. In the post, now deleted, Emma expressed gratitude for her dream of falling in love, having a family, and experiencing unconditional love. She included moments like Bruce patting her forehead in the hospital, celebrating birthdays, enjoying a beach day, and dancing at home.
The couple marked 16 years together in December. Bruce Willis retired from acting in March 2022 due to aphasia and was later diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia in February 2023. Emma thanked her followers for their support during challenging times, emphasizing the importance of community and connection.
Despite the difficulties, Emma expressed gratitude for the lifeline of community and connection during holidays and anniversaries. The couple met in 2007, married in 2009, and has two daughters, Mabel and Evelyn. Bruce Willis also has three daughters with ex-wife Demi Moore—Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Sources say Bruce has more bad days than good but the family has grown closer.
In October, “Moonlighting” creator Glenn Gordon Caron mentioned that Bruce is not entirely verbal, and the disease has affected his language skills. Despite the challenges, Emma and the family continue to support Bruce through his journey with frontotemporal dementia.
