The former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair recently took to her Instagram account and posted some pictures wearing cowboy boots. Given by her caption, it is understood that she took the pictures in Texas.
Charlotte Flair could return soon
‘The Queen’ has been absent from television for over two and a half months, having taken time off for her wedding and honeymoon with All Elite Wrestling’s Andrade El Idolo. Though she is not back yet, Flair has been reasonably active on social media during her hiatus.
Flair and the AEW star Andrade El Idolo recently tied the knot during the former’s hiatus. Photos and videos from their wedding ceremony that took place on May 27th made their way to the internet. Some of the couple’s closest friends including Finn Balor, Apollo Crews, and Nia Jax attended the event. Dave Meltzer had previously revealed on Wrestling Observer Radio that Charlotte would be on a break from WWE for the foreseeable future as she seemingly planned on getting married to Andrade.
‘The Queen’ had failed to successfully defend the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship against Ronda Rousey as the former ended up screaming the words, ‘I Quit’ at WrestleMania Backlash Premium Live Event. The match received a lot of praise for being much better than expected.
Following the conclusion of the match, WWE commentators noted that ‘The Queen’ suffered an injury but it seems it is kayfabe. As per WWE’s medical update, Flair suffered a fractured radius during her loss to Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania Backlash. She was written off TV as she will reportedly take some time off after a seven-month run as the SmackDown Women’s Champion. Charlotte Flair will be “out of action indefinitely.”
We will have to see when she actually returns.
