Goldberg recently opened up about his future in the wrestling industry after leaving WWE. The former professional football player turned wrestler initially rose to fame in WCW in the late 90s, where he enjoyed a historic undefeated streak and multiple World Championship reigns. After WCW’s acquisition by WWE in 2001, Goldberg continued his career in WWE, but it was short-lived, and he left the company after a year.

Fast forward to 2016, nearly 12 years after his departure from WWE, Goldberg made his shocking return as a part-time in-ring performer. He quickly rose to prominence and became one of the most popular wrestlers in the company, with two Universal Championship runs under his belt.

However, the news broke that Goldberg’s contract had expired a few months ago, making him a free agent. Since then, rumors have been swirling around the internet linking him to Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

In a recent interview with Adam Carriker on 93.7 The Ticket, the 56-year-old addressed these rumors and spoke about his future in wrestling. Goldberg acknowledged that he is a businessman and still in a position to make things happen for his character. He stated that a world tour promoting himself and his character is a possibility, and he believes that his character deserves a proper send-off.

“If I go on a world tour and promote it myself, you know, that’s a possibility. If I, you know, hey, I’m a businessman and I’m fortunately, you know, in the position I firmly believe to where I can still make it happen. So, you know, at the end of the day, like I said, I do believe that my character deserves a proper send-off.” He added: “And, now, until that happens man I don’t believe I’m hanging them up, you know. So, anything and everything is an option. And, like I say, I’m very much leaning towards promoting it myself and doing a four-city world tour. So, let the rumor mill start up after that

Goldberg further added that until he gets his proper send-off, he does not believe he will be hanging up his wrestling boots anytime soon. As a result, anything and everything is an option for him, and he is very much leaning towards promoting himself and his character through a four-city world tour. With these comments, the rumor mill has already started up, and wrestling fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating what’s next for Goldberg.
