Charlotte Flair returning at WWE TLC was not going to happen had it not been for Lana being put on the shelf. It seems this was WWE’s plan all along to get Flair back on WWE TV.
According to a report by Fightful Select, many in WWE mentioned that Flair’s WWE TLC return was “not in the cards or considered” when WWE made Lana and Nia Jax’s storyline.
It was said that Charlotte Flair was expected to come back in the “fall or winter,” but it did not mean she would be part of a storyline. There were also “plenty of members” of the roster who did not know about her return in advance.
We will have to see what WWE has planned for Lana once she returns.
