Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy competed in a series of three matches which were well-liked by fans. Jericho did his best to put over Cassidy in the series. The feud culminated in the Mimosa Mayhem match at AEW All Out.
However, that match might not have taken place if the company had decided to go with their initial plan. During his Saturday Night Special, Chris Jericho revealed what AEW had originally planned for AEW All Out.
He said that he was going to take on Mike Tyson at the event. However, owing to Tyson having a match against Roy Jones Jr, Jericho did not get to face Tyson.
“Originally, I was supposed to work with (Mike) Tyson at the September pay-per-view, All Out II, and we just couldn’t get it done in time. The second match I had with Orange (Cassidy) was originally going to be the Mimosa Mayhem Match, but we moved it to the rubber match position.”
Despite Tyson and Jones Jr’s match being postponed to November 28, Tyson was unable to compete at AEW All Out.
