Xero News took to Twitter and reported the following about WWE’s plans for Cody Rhodes going forward.
Many of you have been asking me so, no – Cody Rhodes is not the planned winner of this years Men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match.
You can rule out Homelander getting his rematch with Roman Reigns at SummerSlam.
Roman Reigns WILL defend the gold at Ford Field though, yes. ✅

Cody Rhodes vs. Brock Lesnar 3 was originally planned for SummerSlam at Ford Field, i’m currently working on getting an update on whether it’s a possibility they decide to do the match at Money In The Bank instead. The last I heard – the trilogy bout was planned for SummerSlam.
WWE’s merchandise sales play a significant role in the company’s revenue, and the Superstars themselves benefit from a share of those profits. One Superstar who consistently ranks at the top of the pack in merchandise sales is Cody Rhodes, indicating his strong connection with fans and their ongoing support for him.
According to Sean Sapp, reporting behind Fightful’s paywall, Cody Rhodes currently holds the top position on WWE’s sales charts. It’s worth noting that John Cena’s merchandise outsold Rhodes in Boston, which comes as no surprise given Cena’s immense popularity and fan base.
Cody Rhodes has established himself as a consistent top seller in WWE’s merchandise department. At live events, he typically leads in individual weekly merch sales, with the notable exception of a Raw event in Boston where Cena surpassed him.
With his merchandise royalties, Cody Rhodes is undoubtedly making a substantial income. However, fans can expect even more merchandise options in the future as WWE continues to expand its product offerings.
Cody Rhodes’s strong connection with WWE fans is well-known, and this loyalty is reflected in their support for him through the purchase of his merchandise.
