With expectations off the roof, fans simply could not tell who was going to become the winner of the fight. Conor McGregor would go on to fracture his ankle at the end of the first round and this resulted in Dustin Poirier winning the fight via a TKO. Conor McGregor is known to go after people whenever he feels like it and it seems The Notorious did that once again in a series of tweets, as he took aim at Daniel Cormier and deleted the tweets afterwards. Conor McGregor recently took a shot at Daniel Cormier’s weight and then work ethic and accused Cormier of commentating on his UFC 264 fight with Daniel Cormier while being inebriated.
Kevin Lee recently spoke to James Lynch, where he addressed Conor McGregor’s recent comments. He insinuated that McGregor was definitely on drugs.
“I see a guy who is very frustrated and he kind of stands with the same old shtick too. It’s not showing any growth in your game or who you are as a person when you just go back and rely on the same old things that kind of brought him up a little bit. But it’s going to a different level. I don’t know, drugs is a hell of a thing. Drugs really kind of take you out of it. I don’t know, seems like he’s going through a rough time. It happens. But to me as a competitor, I never really looked at him anyway… I hope he is able to put it together a little more.”
