Despite their history in the ring together it seems that Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather are neighbors. McGregor and Mayweather of course went to ten rounds originally in the summer of 2017 in what was dubbed the ‘Money Fight’. Although McGregor held his own in that match, Mayweather won the fight and has since left professional boxing with a spotless and undefeated record. Conor McGregor’s money deposit at this bank recently leaked.
Still many combat sports fans have been asking to see a rematch between Mayweather and McGregor. Perhaps this latest stunt could be a way to allegedly plant the seeds for a highly-hyped rematch between the two.
After Conor McGregor broke his ankle during his fight against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264, he has been recovering in Beverley Hills. However, recently, McGregor sent Mayweather a bottle of his Proper No. 12 Irish Whiskey, which was seen outside of Mayweather’s property. The bottle was smashed and seemingly, basically thrown by the property.
Although it seems like McGregor is more interested in getting a fourth matchup Poirier and a shot at the UFC’s Light heavyweight Championship – one would have to wonder if McGregor Vs Mayweather II could very well be something that ends up in the cards as well.
