Curt Hawkins slams WWE for lackluster tribute to Brodie Lee

Curt Hawkins criticizes WWE for not paying tribute to Brodie Lee

The latest edition of Monday Night RAW began with WWE showing a still image of Brodie Lee, remembering him.

However, there was no usual video package or a 10 bell salute. Former WWE star and Raw Tag Team Champion, Hawkins took to Twitter and said WWE should have given a proper tribute to Brodie Lee.

He wrote:

“No 10 bell salute?
No video package?
This man was beloved by his peers & we’re all grieving hard.
This isn’t right.”

However, the commentator Tom Phillips started the show with saying ‘It’s Monday and you know what that means’ a tribute to Brodie Lee.

Several WWE stars including Drew McIntyre, Alexa Bliss, and Xavier Woods paid tribute to Brodie Lee during the show.

This week’s edition of Raw saw an eight-man tag team match between The Hurt Business and the team of New Day & The Hardy Bros.

Xavier Woods wore an armband with ‘Brodie’ written on it. Woods also used the Discus Lariat, Brodie Lee’s finisher, during the match with Tom Phillips saying ‘Yeah Yeah Yeah and a big Harper clothesline’ on the mic.
