He took to his Twitter account and wrote the following:
Well I got my walking papers. In all honesty. Thank you to @ufc for giving me the opportunity to perform in front of sell out crowds. I’m glad at least 2 of the fights I had were entertaining to the fans.
I’m still young and hungry. You’ll see me again. All my love 🙏

Raul Rosas Jr. defeated Jay Perrin at UFC 282 in a spectacular first-round finish and handed Perrin his third straight loss in the promotion. After the bout, the 29-year-old struggled to subdue his emotions and was utterly disappointed after losing to an 18-year-old debutant. Raul Rosas Jr. made history as he became the UFC’s youngest-ever fighter to be signed to a contract and the Mexican-American lived up to the hype with a spectacular performance in his debut.
Following his win, the youngster was offered a contract with the UFC and ‘El Nino Problema’ wasted no time in making a very bold declaration about his future in the promotion. In his post-fight interview, Raul Rosas Jr. was asked how he saw his UFC journey going, and he replied:
“You know I’m just ready to fight every week… I don’t even care you know. I’m all gas no breaks you know… I know it won’t be easy, nothing is easy in this life, but I will become the youngest UFC champion. I don’t care what it takes.”
