Deontay Wilder is taking his training very seriously as he is set to come back to the boxing ring fairly soon against Tyson Fury. Deontay is so serious that he is lifting heavier weights and screaming louder than ever to send a message. Manny Pacquiao Reveals If Spence Fight Is Canceled.
Deontay took to Twitter to show a video of himself lifting weights on the bench. Deontay may have started something awful as the memes are rolling in as the video shows Wilder screaming as he is getting ready to set the barbell back on the hinges as he almost fails his bench press. Deontay stated on Twitter to Fury: “You say you’re a semi truck but I’m a freight train. Better get your weight up.”
Deontay may not have just had this showing to be turned into a meme as many also noticed he wore headphones at a press conference to stop the thoughts that Fury could try to plant inside of his head as Fury is known for his talking.
If Wilder loses this fight, it could be game over for him. He won’t get another crack at a world title unless Anthony Joshua chooses to throw him a bone by fighting him for the sake of career pick me up.
Andre Ward spoke up about all the happenings between Fury and Wilder. He was asked if he saw anything between the two when they were face to face at a press conference which showed Wilder wearing the infamous headphones: “No, not really. I didn’t like the headphones from Wilder, but that’s the strategy he’s taking and we’re going to find out if it works or not. Fury has basically been doing what he’s been doing, talking his talk and he tends to back it up.”
Ward continued: “Wilder is out of character in a sense that he’s not his normal self, but we got to see if this new tactic of tuning the world out and tuning Fury out will works. We’re going to find out in a month from now. I don’t think he has a better chance. I think he has the chance that he’s always had. He’s dangerous, but I think he’s always going to be dangerous.”
