Dean Whyte just dropped a huge bombshell on a Deontay Wilder feud that wasn’t talked about much until now as we are about two years over the timeframe in which this happened. Dean is now speaking out. KSI Reveals If Logan Paul ‘Faked’ Major Fight.
The following has been transcribed by Wrestling-Edge.
Dean stated the following as it took place at the Broner vs. Pacquiao fight in 2019 as he was with his brother Dillian Whyte at the time: “We saw him (Wilder) and he saw us. We was there. I was ready for any kind of (inaudible) I wasn’t playing none of those games. None of that at all, you know what I’m saying? It’s all good. Much respect to him. He kept it moving, but we came into Las Vegas, Pacquiao was in a VIP section with Broner. He kind of shuffled and kept it moving. I remember it quite clearly because I seen him and I was like ‘ah, I hope this guy don’t try nothing because I’ll have to snuff this guy,’ we was there. We weren’t gonna be disrespectful. We weren’t gonna….We weren’t gonna…We weren’t gonna start nothing.”
He continues explaining that Wilder backed down when he confronted him: “Sometimes it’s just talking and sometime (snaps fingers) it just ignites and it is what it is, you know what I mean? When he came here I confronted him. If he would have said what was all the talk about, we would have understood what it was.”
Moving forward into the interview, there was still much more to be said: “It is what it is though. Nothing happened anyway. We saw him and we looked at him to see what was going on, but he didn’t engage in eye contact or whatever. He kept it moving, but he was with one of his cronies. He just kept it moving.”
