Donald Trump posted on Truth Social:
“The public is demanding to know the White House “Cocaine Story.” Just like I QUICKLY PROVIDED SECURITY TAPES FROM MAR-a-LAGO on the BOXES HOAX, the White House has Security Cameras (far more than Mar-a-Lago!) all over the place, especially the location in question. THEY 100% KNOW WHO IT IS. If they don’t release information, it means they destroyed the tapes & the Cocaine was for use by Hunter, & probably Crooked Joe, in order to give this total disaster of a President a little life and energy!”
“Was Crooked Joe Biden on Cocaine when he instructed the FBI/DOJ to illegally invade my home, Mar-a-Lago, in complete and total violation of my 4th Amendment Rights? Was he on Cocaine, or various other substances, when he, for the first time in U.S. history, had his political opponent, who is leading him in the Polls by a lot, indicted and arrested (twice, if you include the DOJ run Manhattan D.A.’s Office)? WE ARE A NATION IN DECLINE!!!”
Republican lawmakers are expressing skepticism and raising questions about the media reports suggesting that the person responsible for leaving a bag of cocaine in the White House may never be identified.
Senator Mike Lee of Utah, a Republican, commented on the heavily secured and constantly surveilled nature of the White House, expressing doubts about the inability to determine who placed the cocaine there. Similar sentiments were echoed by Representative Tim Burchett of Tennessee and Senator Marsha Blackburn, also from Tennessee, who questioned the White House’s assertion that the culprit would likely never be found, considering the availability of video footage, visitor logs, and facial recognition technology.
Conflicting reports have emerged regarding the exact location where the cocaine was discovered. Initially, it was reported to have been found in the White House library, but White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre later clarified that it had been located in a heavily traveled area of the West Wing. Subsequently, multiple outlets indicated that the cocaine was actually discovered near the more secure West Executive entrance.
The Secret Service is currently conducting an investigation into the incident, which occurred while President Joe Biden and his family were away at Camp David. Some Republican critics of the administration have voiced their belief that the true identity of the culprit may not be a priority for the White House. Senator Kevin Cramer of North Dakota suggested that the White House may not want the culprit to be found, while Representative Lauren Boebert of Colorado went a step further, proposing mandatory drug testing for top officials, including President Biden, until the perpetrator is identified.
As the investigation continues, Republican lawmakers are expressing their concerns and calling for transparency and accountability in determining who brought illegal drugs into the White House. The incident has raised questions about security measures and the effectiveness of surveillance systems in one of the world’s most heavily guarded locations.
