Donald Trump Says Fox News Host ‘Sucks’

Donald Trump took to his own social media account, where he simply stated that Marc Thiessen is a bad Fox News host.

President Trump won BIG in Iowa. And will win again in 2024.

According to The Hill, former President Donald Trump has lashed out at Fox News, labeling it the “DeSanctimonious Network” and criticizing its coverage of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. Trump, who is seen as a contender for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination, accused the channel of desperately pushing DeSantis, who he said was “dropping like a rock.”

Trump’s attack on Fox News is part of his distancing from the network that played a crucial role in his rise to power. The former president criticized Fox News for letting go of Tucker Carlson, its top-rated prime-time host, and its $780 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems for its coverage of the 2020 election. Trump also accused the channel of not fighting against the “VERY Corrupt and Rigged” election.

The former president’s criticism of Fox News comes after he appeared on a town hall on CNN last week, which generated a lot of attention and criticism. Trump told CNN to “take the great ratings” as it faced backlash for the program.

Trump’s focus on DeSantis is also notable, as the Florida governor is seen as a potential rival for the 2024 Republican presidential nomination. Trump claimed that DeSantis was “a dead man walking” without his endorsement, and even with Fox News, he was “pretty close to that again!”

While Trump’s attacks on Fox News may come as a surprise to some, they reflect a broader trend of the former president distancing himself from institutions and individuals that he feels have not been sufficiently loyal or supportive of him. As he positions himself for another presidential run, Trump appears to be taking a more aggressive and confrontational approach to his perceived rivals and opponents. That said, even Jason Sudeki brutally humiliated Donald Trump recently as well.
