A controversy recently sparked around the hush money payment that Michael Cohen admitted that he made to Stormy Daniels during the fall of Trump’s 2016 White House bid to keep her from coming forward about an alleged affair she had with the then-candidate. Trump has denied the affair. Previously, TMZ reported that Daniels was experiencing the impact of Trump’s potential impending arrest and reportedly strengthening her security after receiving multiple threats.

Stormy Daniels opens up on the matter
In an exclusive interview with Piers Morgan on Fox Nation’s Piers Morgan Uncensored last week, Stormy Daniels said she did sign a $130,000 USD non-disclosure agreement with Donald Trump but not because her alleged affair with Trump would have hampered his campaign for president in 2016. She signed it, she told Morgan, because she didn’t want anyone to know she (allegedly) had an affair with Trump in 2006.
She told Morgan she’d had s*x with “way hotter” celebrities, adding she “wouldn’t have said anything” about the matter.
Her interview with Morgan aired a couple of days after Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg indicted Trump on charges that the nondisclosure agreement by Daniels.
Such charges in New York State are misdemeanors, but by adding “in the first degree” it allows Bragg to elevate the charges to felonies, alleging the former president broke federal campaign finance laws by classifying the agreements as legal fees.
In the interview, Daniels told Morgan the alleged affair was more like a client privilege moment rather than having the steamy connotation viewed publicly. She said there would have been a stigma attached to having s*x with a presidential candidate and she wanted nothing to do with it.
