Drew McIntyre promises WWE Title run during ICW HOF speech

The Sinister Scotsman showed up at the ICW Fight Club tapings last night, where he was inducted into ICW’s Hall of Fame. McIntyre, a two-time and inaugural ICW World Heavyweight Champion, has been out with a torn bicep since NXT Takeover: War Games.

During the ceremony, McIntyre praised ICW for how far they’ve come since they began back in 2006, and thanked his friends and family for believing in him. He also thanked Triple H for allowing him to travel to the tapings for the induction, saying that “Uncle Paul” insisted he travel to ICW for it. ICW’s owner Mark Dallas tweeted his thanks to the Game for allowing McIntyre to appear for the special night.

McIntyre ended his speech with a strong claiming, “I don’t just want to be the first British, not just the first UK, but the first Scottish-born WWE World Heavyweight Champion!”
