MMA star Dustin Poirier attended tonight’s much hyped fight between fellow UFC star Tyron Woodley and Jake Paul. Poirier is just coming off a super fight of his own where ‘The Diamond’ defeated ‘Mystic Mac’ Conor McGregor during the very first round due to McGregor breaking his ankle. You can watchalong to Woodley Vs Paul here.
One combat sports fan took to social media via Twitter to highly his experience with meeting Poirier as James Neff put: “Met the Diamond @DustinPoirier tonight. I’m a huge fan so I’m kind of geeking right. He also gave me a bottle of his hot sauce”

When the top UFC lightweight entered the Rocket Mortage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio he was greeted with a thunderous ovation by the fans in attendance. BR_Betting documented this by stating: “Dustin Poirier is in the building Fisted hand. Receiving lots of love after two wins over Conor McGregor”. In comparison, this top name was booed heavily during tonight’s fight.

However, in a shocking development when Poirier got into the building he did not go automatically into the dressing room for his fellow MMA star but rather went to the dressing room for ‘The Problem Child’ Jake Paul, as the online Boxing Editor for TalkSPORT, Michael Benson points out.

So who did Dustin Poirier support in tonight’s top fight? Apparently both as he admitted on social media via Twitter that he was wishing both competitors ‘good luck.’ Poirier was disrespected by fans for being friendly with Paul, and a Showtime announcer disrespected him by calling him the UFC lightweight champion, when he isn’t.
I went tell both guys good luck https://t.co/u4gYltZcgg
