Elon Musk Dumping Big Name After Trump Meeting

Elon Musk recently disclosed that he is “leaning away” from President Joe Biden but has not yet committed to endorsing former President Donald Trump. Speculation arose after Musk met with Trump in Palm Beach, Florida, leading some to believe Trump was seeking Musk’s endorsement and financial support for his campaign or legal matters.

However, Musk clarified in an interview with Don Lemon that the meeting with Trump was unplanned on his part, and Trump did not ask him for money or support. Musk stated that he was attending a breakfast at a friend’s house when Trump unexpectedly showed up, and his friend informed him about Trump’s arrival after he had already arrived.

“I was at a breakfast at a friend’s place and Donald Trump came by, that’s it,” Musk said, adding that his unnamed friend only told him that Trump was coming after Musk had already arrived.

“I’m not paying his legal bills in any way, shape or form,” Musk continued. “And he did not ask me for money.”

Regarding the breakfast meeting with Trump, Musk described it as typical, with Trump doing most of the talking and discussing topics that were not particularly groundbreaking or new. Musk emphasized that he does not plan to financially contribute to either presidential campaign at this time.

While Musk acknowledged that he may endorse a candidate in the future, he intends to make a thoughtful decision and provide a detailed explanation for his choice. He also mentioned that he is currently “leaning away” from Biden but has not ruled out the possibility of endorsing either candidate before the election.
