WWE had announced earlier that Bruce Prichard will replace Eric Bischoff as the executive director of the blue brand. Post this announcement, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet confirmed that Bischoff is entirely done with WWE.
Eric Bischoff, who was entrusted with the role of SmackDown’s executive director at the end of June, posted a tweet wishing Prichard the best and also managed to express his gratitude for the opportunity of working backstage with the WWE. The tweet said:
“Bruce is a great producer, good friend and I am certain he is going to thrive in his position. He’s going to be working with a great team of the most dedicated and hard working people I have had the pleasure of working with and getting to know.”
