Ex-WWE Star Nearly Dies After 8 Days In Hospital

It is a known truth that WWE Superstars give their all to thrill fans, frequently suffering severe bodily harm in the process. Dennis Knight, a wrestler who entertained millions of people while competing in the ring, sadly has a tragic update.

Wrestling fans have grown accustomed to seeing Dennis Knight go by a number of ring identities over the years, including Tex Slazenger in WCW and Phineus Godwin and Mideon in the WWE.

As Knight worked for the WWE and assumed the character of Phineus Godwin, his career in professional wrestling started to take form. Together with Henry Godwinn, he formed the Godwinns and together they won the WWE Tag Team Championship in the middle of the 1990s.

Following his partnership with Henry, Knight transormed to the persona of Mideon, joining The Undertaker’s ominous faction known as The Ministry of Darkness.

The former WWE star took to Instagram to share a harrowing ordeal he recently faced. Dennis Knight revealed that he had been hospitalized for over a week, spending two days in the ICU, after being admitted due to stomach pain that ultimately led to surgery.

In a recent post, Knight revealed the extent of his medical condition. He went through surgery when doctors found a shredded appendix, a hernia, and a bladder stone as big as a golf ball, which had caused considerable harm to his stomach.

Even though his gallbladder had been removed years before, Knight experienced unforeseen complications. Furthermore, he disclosed that his blood sugar levels were alarmingly high, going beyond 700, which is far above the typical range.

Reflecting on the experience, Knight expressed gratitude for his family’s support and urged others to take care of themselves and to appreciate each day, as his near-death experience had profoundly affected him.

“Hi my name Is Dennis Knight and this week I almost died! Spent 8 days in the hospital and 48 hours in ICU…with everything I’ve done in my life I would have thought.
