Ever since Finn Balor won a Fatal-4-Way match last week on Monday Night Raw, earning a shot at Brock Lesnar and the Universal Championship at WWE Royal Rumble, the WWE Universe has been wondering if we would see the Demon make an appearance.
Some of Balor’s biggest victories have occurred while he donned the Demon paint, and fans expected to see him break out the big guns for his Universal Championship opportunity. In an interview with ESPN, however, the former champion revealed that wasn’t the case.
I feel like maybe I leaned on the demon too much there in the past as a crutch, and I can assure you that the man who faces Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble will be Finn Balor, the man.
Balor will challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at WWE Royal Rumble, this Sunday, January 27th.
