Floyd Mayweather ‘Bad Remark’ To Tyron Woodley Leaks?

The Youtube star Jake Paul (3-0, 3 KOs) recently said that the former UFC champion Tyron Woodley is underestimating him, as their eight-round boxing clash is around the corner.  While Paul is taking part in his fourth bout, Woodley is making his pro boxing debut. Woodley is the most experienced fighter that Paul has ever faced.

In Paul’s first three outings, he defeated Youtuber AnEsonGib, NBA veteran Nate Robinson and MMA fighter Ben Askren, who was overweight and undersized. It has been noted that Woodley trained hard for the fight. During his training camp, he set aside time to get much-needed work with one of the best boxers of all time, former five-division champion Floyd Mayweather. Jake Paul claims Floyd Mayweather is underestimating him as well

Paul watched some of the training videos of  Woodley – and he feels that the MMA veteran is not giving him enough respect as a fighter.

Here is what he said:

“I think he’s just going through the motions,” Paul told MMA Junkie. “I don’t know if he has really digested how good of a fighter I am. I still think there’s like this mental block for him where he’s just like, ‘Oh, this kid’s a YouTuber. How hard could this fight be?’

“He says he’s training hard, and he says he’s doing all the right things, but I still think in the back of his head he’s like, ‘I’ve fought Kamaru Usman, I fought Gilbert Burns. This is gonna be an easy fight.’ I’ve seen the little clips of him and Floyd training. Floyd’s telling him the same thing, you know, like, ‘Just go out there and fight, he’s not a real fighter. He’s never been in there with a real fighter.’ Them underestimating me will be the biggest mistake and he will be exposed for that.”

Paul and Woodley are set to collide on Sunday night in Cleveland, in the main event of a Showtime Pay-Per-View card.
