Full Recap Of John Cena’s Appearance On ESPN’s Sportscenter

John Cena appeared on ESPN’s Sportscenter tonight (October 20th, 2015) to talk to Jonathan Coachman about WWE. This was the second installment of WWE’s segment on the sports network.

 


 

There was a highlight reel of the top five moments from last night’s episode of RAW shown.

Cena appeared on SportsCenter via satellite wearing a suit. Cena spoke about his time as a football player in college. He made some jokes about being a caddy for golf. Coachman compared him to Tom Brady. Cena made some more jokes about how Tom Brady was in Ted 2 while he only watched it. Cena did point out that both of their bosses are tough.

Coachman then brought up Cena’s dedication for the Make-A-Wish program as well as the Susan G. Komen. He brought up his brother being diagnosed with three-stage brain cancer.

Cena spoke about NXT and how important it is to the WWE right now. Cena said that there’s not a next John Cena, but rather finding the next guy. He claimed that they should be themselves and knock their opportunity out of the park so they can be the next guy.

Cena thanked ESPN for having him on the show, and this wrapped up the segment.
