Impact Wrestling is “heavily pursuing” Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows according to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet.
The pair who were released by WWE several months ago having been promoting an announcement about their future on July 18th, which coincidentally is the same night as Impact Wrestling’s “Slammiversary” pay-per-view. The show has also been promoted with a teaser of former WWE personnel making appearances.
In what could be an ideal scenario, the deal reportedly allows the two to also work a schedule with New Japan Pro Wrestling.
Anderson and Gallows are two men in demand, and it’s not impossible they could be starting a side promotion of their own, but time will tell what their future holds. For now, it looks like a move to AEW is off the table.
