While Goldberg has been vocal about possibly returning to WWE for one more run, so far it doesn’t seem like the company has any plans for his comeback.
However, with the company expanding their reach and putting out shows like the upcoming Crown Jewel event, a lot of people wonder if the former WCW Star could be brought back for a big money event.
During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Goldberg was asked about a possible return to the company, and the former World Champion said that he doesn’t see that happening:
“I don’t really foresee that happening, but if Vince [McMahon] picked up the phone and asked me to do something of that magnitude, I’d have to listen, it’s always a possibility.”
Continuing on the topic, the former Universal Champion said that he wouldn’t just return for a money grab appearance and he will come back if WWE can come up with a good story for it.
