WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg was the WWE Universal Champion on two separate occasions. His current contract is going to run out after two more years. Due to his age, it is a wonder how long he will be able to wrestle in the ring.
Goldberg recently was interviewed the Bleacher Report, where he discussed how in-ring career in WWE. He said that he will continue to wrestle as long as his body allows him.
“We always have to cross that bridge when we come to it.” “I’m 53 years old, I’ll be 54 here in a couple of weeks. Hey, as long as my body can still do it, I’m still going to do it.”
The WWE Hall of Famer then said that it will be hard for him to continue being a power wrestler. He is not the same wrestler that he once was. He said that ultimately what matters is that he provides for his family by earning money.
“There are a lot of things that come into consideration, and at the end of the day, I’m a businessman,” he continued. “I do what I got to do to stay afloat and stay out there. I don’t see myself hanging it up any time soon, but then again, I also don’t see myself wrestling until I’m 60.”
The current WWE plans will see Goldberg taking on Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 37.
