This week’s episode of Monday Night RAW featured RAW Women’s Champion Asuka squaring off against Shayna Baszler. The match was used to build towards their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match at WWE TLC on December 20th.
It seems the storyline will continue to progress into next week. During this week’s show, Asuka managed to defeat Baszler. On next week’s show, Lana will be competing against Nia Jax in a singles match.
Lana was not feeling confident in her ability to defeat Jax next week, but her partner Asuka then encouraged her by giving her a pep talk. Then suddenly Nia Jax appeared and stared down at Lana.
For several weeks Jax had put Lana through the announcer’s table and we wonder if that will continue next week as well. We will have to see what happens during their match next week.
