– At last night’s WWE SmackDown tapings in Phoenix, new World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk challenged Jeff Hardy to a Loser Leaves WWE match for the main event. Hardy accepted the challenge and lost to Punk inside a steel cage. One fan in attendance said the match was an amazing one and that Hardy gave a great speech after the match.

It’s been speculated for months and it now appears that Jeff Hardy is gone from WWE, for the time being. Stay tuned for more details on Hardy’s WWE departure and what might be next for him.
