WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has the final say in anything and everything that goes on in the company, for better or worse. Vince McMahon also sabotaged Jon Moxley’s matches.
Vince McMahon has been WWE Chairman since 1982 when he bought WWE from his father Vince Sr and his partners. McMahon saw quite a few changes in his company over the last few decades on top of that. All through that, the WWE Chairman continued to adapt to the changing times. However, many fans now feel that he is out of touch and simply has no idea what is good for a WWE Superstar and their growth. The WWE Chairman is larger than life in many ways and he also has his own oddities and problems as well.
WrestleMania 38 already looks to be one of the most hyped Premium Live Events in the company’s history and it is not hard to see why. According to a report by Ringside News, there are a lot of pitches going around in WWE already.
It was also added that a tenured member of the creative team confirmed: “nothing is off the table for WrestleMania.” While many ideas can be pitched, that does not mean they will come to fruition at WrestleMania 38. “Hulk Hogan vs. Linda McMahon” was given as a crazy example.
In other Vince McMahon news during an edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, five-time WCW Champion Booker T discussed his current relationship with the WWE Chairman. Credit to Wrestling Inc for the below.
“I have worked for Vince McMahon for 20 years. He gave me his cellphone number when I first met him, and I have never used that number once. I say, ‘when Vince needs to talk to me, he will call me in the office, or he will give me a phone call.’ I am going to keep it that way,” he said. “But I am always going to be cordial. I am going to always make sure I respect the boss, and hopefully, we have a friendly relationship. But as far as me ever looking at Vince McMahon solely as a friend, I will be totally making a big mistake.”
WWE has a lot going on with WrestleMania coming up. Plans are coming together and there are TONS of pitches. We've been told that, "Everything will be pitched for the next few weeks. So everything will be discussed. There are no limitations to the ideas being discussed."
