The WWE has been experiencing a resurgence in popularity since WrestleMania, with a renewed interest in the product. Many attribute this to a possible UFC merger, which has helped to generate more buzz around the company. In addition, the return of Vince McMahon to the creative mix has also caused a stir, with his presence causing a lot of chaos on the RAW after WrestleMania.
During the RAW after WrestleMania, Vince McMahon appeared and caused quite a stir by tearing up the plans that had been made for the show. He also made changes to segments during the show, which led to new production sheets having to be written up. One wrestler who was particularly unhappy about this was Seth Rollins, and a fan managed to capture his furious reaction on camera.
According to Freddie Prinze Jr., Seth Rollins was so angry about the changes that he actually walked out during the RAW after WrestleMania. He was particularly upset about the fact that they cut to a commercial during his segment and couldn’t handle Vince McMahon’s constant changes to the show.
“During his intro, they played a commercial, and then we could hear him having a freak-out on some production people. He was going, ‘Why is there a commercial?!’ You couldn’t really hear what he was saying. You could just tell he was mad,” Prinze explained. “He said, ‘What the hell is going on?!’ I saw that coming out of his mouth. I think he was more pissed than pissed at them. I think he was pissed when he went backstage at whoever did that. But if I was him, I would’ve been just as angry, and I thought the way he dealt with it was so hardcore and awesome. Instead of cutting a promo, he just throws the mic out of the ring and walked out – and walked out of the friggin’ show.”
Despite rumors that Seth Rollins had quit WWE, WRKD Wrestling has been able to confirm that he is still with the company. While the idea of spending more time at home with his family may be tempting, Rollins currently has no plans to leave WWE.
One of the reasons for this is the amount of time he gets to spend with his family while on the road. Rollins isn’t looking to change that, and it seems that he is committed to remaining with WWE for the foreseeable future. With the company experiencing a resurgence in popularity, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for Rollins and the rest of the WWE roster.
Squashing any rumors, Seth Rollins currently has no plans to leave the WWE.
