This high-profile power couple, former senior advisers in the White House, made headlines when they relocated to Florida in January 2021 and acquired a $24 million property often referred to as a “fixer-upper” on Indian Creek Island, more colloquially known as the ‘Billionaire Bunker’ due to its roster of celebrity residents.
Over the course of more than a year, Ivanka, 41, and Jared, 42, have poured their time and resources into renovating the sprawling 1.3-acre estate that boasts breathtaking views overlooking Biscayne Bay. Recent exclusive images from DailyMail.com showcase a significant milestone in the construction process—the mansion’s massive pool has been filled with water. This visual cue suggests that the grand vision for their dream home is inching closer to becoming a reality.
While the couple has yet to make the official move into their new abode, they couldn’t resist taking advantage of the stunning exterior earlier this year, using it as a backdrop for memorable family portraits alongside their three children: Arabella, 12; Joseph, nine; and Theodore, seven.
Their new mansion offers an impressive six bedrooms and eight-and-a-half bathrooms, set amidst lush landscaping, reflective pools, and a substantial dock. The property was originally sold to Ivanka and Jared by billionaire Alex Meruelo and his wife, Liset Meruelo. Interestingly, it had previously belonged to record producer Scott Storch from 2004 to 2008.
Despite the ongoing construction of their lavish home, Ivanka and Jared were spotted on-site last week, inspecting the progress and engaging in discussions about the outdoor area. This visit coincided with a turbulent period for the Trump family, as it came shortly after the arrest of former President Donald Trump and the release of his historic mugshot from Fulton County jail in Georgia.
During their visit to the construction site, Ivanka sported a sporty black T-shirt and matching leggings, accentuated by pink and black sneakers. Her trademark long blonde hair was neatly pulled back, and she shielded her eyes from the Florida sunshine with a white baseball cap and mirrored sunglasses. Jared, on the other hand, donned a white pocket T-shirt, jeans, dark sunglasses, and his signature gray New Balance sneakers.
