According to The New York Post, Donald Trump, accompanied by his family, led a somber gathering at the Upper East Side funeral for his sister, retired Judge Maryanne Trump Barry. The former president, joined by Melania and his children, waited outside St. Ignatius of Loyola Church to receive the black Cadillac hearse carrying the 86-year-old former federal judge and assistant US attorney. The family embraced as the coffin emerged from the hearse before silently watching as pallbearers took it inside.
Secret Service agents and NYPD counterterrorism officers secured the area during the service. Donald Trump wore a dark blue suit without his signature red tie, flanked by Melania in dark glasses and a black button-down coat. Ivanka Trump wore a black lace dress with a bow in her hair, accompanied by Jared Kushner in a dark blue suit. Donald Trump Jr., in a black suit, stood with fiancee Kimberly Guilfoyle in a knee-length black dress.
Inside the church, the altar featured large bouquets of white lilies, and a lily cross adorned the vestibule. New York Archbishop Cardinal Timothy Dolan performed the blessing of Trump Barry’s body, and the choir sang “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God” as the processional hymn, according to the funeral program.
