Ivanka Trump recently went out with her husband, Jared Kushner.
On Oct. 25, the former senior advisor to the Trump administration, 41, took to Instagram to give an anniversary shout-out to her husband Jared Kushner, 42, whom she’s been married to for 14 years.
“Celebrating 14 years (!!!) of love, laughter, wild rides and endless adventures with my rock, Jared! ♥️,” she wrote. “I am so thankful for this beautiful life and family we’ve built together.”
A source tells PEOPLE that they are still very in love — and also love living in Miami, where they “feel pretty free.”
“They’re a solid couple,” the source says. “They weathered a lot over the past eight years, the kind of stuff that would test anyone’s relationship, but they’ve somehow come out stronger.”
Donald Trump has been in the news throughout the year, not only as a presidential candidate but as a four-time indictee facing a total of 91 criminal counts. He is currently in New York for separate civil trial proceedings in a fraud case brought by the attorney general.
Earlier this year, Trump also was the subject of a civil sexual abuse and defamation case filed by writer E. Jean Carroll, who claimed that the former president forced himself upon her at a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room nearly three decades prior.
However, the source affirms that Ivanka and Jared have distanced themselves from politics altogether, and instead are concentrating on raising their three children in Miami.
