Ivanka Trump Rejects Return To White House After…

Jared Kushner has outlined his intention to refrain from participating in a potential second Trump administration during an interview at the Axios BFD conference in Miami. Kushner, who served as one of his father-in-law’s key advisers for four years, expressed his commitment to his role at Affinity Partners, an investment firm based in Miami. Despite the possibility of Trump winning in November, Kushner asserted his plans to continue working in private equity. He emphasized his dedication to his investors and employees, stating that, at this phase in his life, he desires to focus on his firm. While Kushner hinted at the unpredictability of life, he affirmed that he would decline any job offer from Trump if extended, along with Ivanka being unlikely to return.

Reflecting on Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, Kushner described it as a “family campaign,” whereas the former president’s current bid is characterized by a professionally run campaign with a robust team. Expressing gratitude for his previous role in the campaign and administration, Kushner suggested that if Trump were to return to office, he would exhibit a higher level of competence and professionalism than in the last administration. Kushner speculated that Trump possesses a better understanding of effective personnel for various roles, anticipating a lengthy list of qualified individuals for potential appointments.

Kushner acknowledged that Trump’s team, if re-elected, would be more experienced. However, indications suggest that the former president may prioritize loyalty in assembling a new administration. Despite Kushner’s declared disinterest along with Ivanka Trump, sources close to Trump have mentioned him as a potential candidate for significant positions if Trump secures victory.
