Former President Donald Trump is seemingly relying on his family to survive the legal woes. The first member of Trump’s family to attend the trial and witness testimony in person during the day, his son, strode into this lack of family support. A wooden barrier stood between the father and son while they spoke.
Keith Davidson, the lawyer for Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal, testified before him on his role as a middleman in arranging the women’s contracts so they could sell their narratives. On the other hand, one prosecution witness painted a far more favorable picture of Trump and his ties to his family. Hope Hicks, the longtime confidante of the former president, spoke under oath on Friday for roughly three hours.
