Lopez stated, “Ben is doing alright. You don’t need to worry about Ben, let me just tell you. He is good. He is happy. He is here.” She emphasized that Affleck is content and relaxed, dismissing concerns about his demeanor at events. Lopez further remarked on people misinterpreting facial expressions, suggesting that they might not accurately gauge their emotions.
Affleck, a three-time Golden Globe winner, has received accolades for Best Screenplay for “Good Will Hunting” and Best Director and Best Motion Picture – Drama for “Argo.” His 2023 film “Air,” which he directed, was nominated for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy at the 2024 Golden Globes.
Lopez, a two-time Golden Globe nominee, received nods for Best Actress – Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for her role in “Selena” (1997) and Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture for “Hustlers” (2019). Additionally, she mentioned her upcoming ninth studio album, “This Is Me… Now,” set for release on February 16, which is inspired by her relationship with Affleck and serves as a sequel to her 2002 album.
