Donald Trump has posted on Truth Social about his new classified documents tape leaking, “The Deranged Special Prosecutor, Jack Smith, working in conjunction with the DOJ & FBI, illegally leaked and “spun” a tape and transcript of me which is actually an exoneration, rather than what they would have you believe. This continuing Witch Hunt is another ELECTION INTERFERENCE Scam. They are cheaters and thugs!”
During a speech at the Faith & Freedom Coalition convention in Georgia, former President Donald Trump addressed his stance on various education-related issues. He emphasized his commitment to expelling what he referred to as “communists” and individuals promoting ideologies such as Critical Race Theory and transgender rights in schools. Trump stated his intention to sign an executive order to cut federal funding for schools that promote such content, emphasizing the need to protect children from inappropriate material.
Trump also expressed his dedication to fighting for parents’ rights and school choice. He proposed making the position of school principal an elected position, giving parents more control over their children’s education. He advocated for the right to choose between public, private, charter, or religious schools, aiming to provide parents with options while ensuring that public schools are not neglected. Trump further suggested that parents should have the power to immediately remove and replace principals who fail to meet expectations.
The former president also took a firm stance against vaccine and mask mandates in schools, pledging not to allocate any federal funds to institutions implementing such measures. Additionally, he vowed to preserve the separation of sports based on biological sex, expressing his opposition to transgender participation in women’s sports. Trump highlighted his intent to prohibit child sexual mutilation and reinstate the ban on transgender individuals serving in the military, asserting that a focus on strength and the nation’s security should prevail.
These statements align with previous remarks made by Trump in a campaign video from January, where he emphasized the importance of parental input and control in education. He advocated for the removal of tenure for public school teachers and pledged to empower parents to have the final say in their children’s education. Trump also promised to cut funding for schools promoting critical race theory and gender ideology, while championing curriculum transparency and school choice.
As discussions surrounding education reform continue to unfold, Trump’s ideas on parental involvement, school choice, and addressing controversial ideologies in educational settings reflect his vision for an education system that aligns with his pro-American values.
“Another top priority will be to expel the communists and these terrible people that have taken over our education system,” Trump said. “I will immediately signed a new executive order to cut federal funding for any school pushing Critical Race Theory, transgender insanity, and other inappropriate racial, sexual or political content on our children.”
Trump continued, “I always say this. Can you believe this? Can you imagine saying this 10 or 15 years ago? I will fight for parents’ rights. Of course you fight. Today I have to say, I have to make it — I will fight for parents’ rights. of course you fight for parents’ rights. Who would ever think you have to say that as a politician or as a person at a microphone?”
Trump said that this includes “the right to send your child to the public, private charter, or religious school of your choice. At the same time, I refuse to abandon our public school system to these lunatics because what’s happening there is terrible. That’s why I will fight for the direct election of school principals by the parents, the parents of the school. If any principal is not getting the job done, the parents should be able to fire them immediately and select someone who will.”
“I will not give one penny to any school that has a vaccine mandate or masked mandate from kindergarten to college,” Trump said.
